With a couple of years (and presumably one more game) to go until Codemasters takes over the official FIA World Rally Championship license, Nacon and KT Racing have something to prove while they still have it. They're making a splash with a fortunate piece of timing - the 50th anniversary of the championship. To celebrate the milestone, KT Racing has created History Mode, a series of 19 events from across the championship's storied past that challenges players to tackle the vehicles and conditions of each period. As with previous entries in the series, WRC 10 sits on the simulation end of the driving game spectrum, though it's arguably just a touch more arcade-y than Codemasters' Dirt Rally. It leans a little more into the fun of sliding around on gravel and mud while sticking to realistic physics and handling throughout. Career Mode returns, of course, balancing a ton of driving with a bit of team management. This time out there's a new Livery Editor, which allows you to design the look of your team for the first time. New content includes four new 2021 rallies: Estonia, Croatia, Belgium and Spain; six historic rallies including Acropolis, San Remo, Germany and Argentina; 120 special stages; 52 official teams from the 2021 season (spanning WRC, WRC2, WRC3 and Junior WRC); and 20 legendary cars from Alpine, Audi, Lancia, Subaru, Ford, Mitsubishi, Toyota and more.
