Soprano Teodora Gheorghiu presents a song recital focusing on composers that evoke the spirit of the Art Nouveau period. Joined by pianist Jonathan Aner, Gheorghiu sings a resplendent selection of works by Ravel, Zemlinsky, Strauss and Respighi. The album's cleverly designed cover brings to mind the artwork of Alphonse Mucha, a noted Czech painter and decorative artist whose work is emblematic of the Art Nouveau style.
