Choffel, whose signature voice floats on a spectrum between Feist and Erykah Badu, is sole writer on all but two songs, mingling R&B, reggae, pop and jazz into a thrilling and distinct sound that reflects her broad influences spanning Peter Tosh to Patty Griffin.
