The 6-CD set now being issued concludes this collection (which serves as a remarkable memorial to this influential composer), presenting in one box the complete works for keyboard instruments by the Dutch composer. Historical organs, virginals and harpsichords are played here by the most eminent specialists, including Pieter Dirksen, Pieter-Jan Belder, Bob van Asperen and the late Gustav Leonhardt. This set also includes four-part settings of choral melodies used by Sweelinck.
