Sharon Shannon returns with her first studio album since 2003. Joining her at the core of this project are Michael McGoldrick of Fused and Capercaillie on flute and whistles and his Mancunian fiddle player partner Dezi Donnelly. Completing the quartet is Sharon's longtime guitarist Jim Murray. The album, which mainly features new original material by the quartet, is a heady mix of traditional Irish with hip-hop beats, ragga, jazz and world inflections. Also joining in the fun are Justin Adams (Tinariwen producer and Robert Plant guitarist) John Reynolds (Sinead O'Connor, Indigo Girls), 2Play, Roachie, saxman Richie Buckley (Van Morrison) and Donald Shaw (Capercaillie) among others.
