Celebrating 20 years as a recording artists, this collection brings together some of Perry's finest, acoustic-based tracks and include previously unreleased material and includes a string quartet version, of his genevieve, recorded live at cirque Royale, Brussels. Born in County sligo, North West Ireland on may 10th 1970 Perry Blake is of Irish and French huguenot ancestry. He released his eponymous debut album to massive critical acclaim across Europe in 1998. Over the last 20 years, on 8 Classic albums, Perry has worked with some extraordinary talent such as Marco sabiu (tanita tikaram, Francoise hardy, Ennio Morricone & pavarotti), Toby pitman (Paul McCartney, George Michael, David Arnold, Clint Mansell, Shirley bassey), Steve Jansen (Japan, Rain tree Crow), Glen garret (Dead can dance), Graham Murphy (clannad, Sharon Shannon, Marie brennan) & Neil Conti (David Bowie/prefab sprout).
