Third album from British singer songwriter Jono McCleery, released via If Music, a newly established record label by the acclaimed Soho-based independent record shop of the same name. Recently Jono lent his voice to albums by Portico and Maribou State. Full of beautiful melody, ‘Pagodes’ is rooted in the folk tradition, with Jono’s nimble guitar work and incredible vocals providing the foundations for some subtle and exquisite electronic embellishments. Known for his captivating live show, McCleery has toured with Gil Scott Heron, Jamie Woon, Bonobo, Fink, Jose Gonzalez, Little Dragon and, most recently, fronted Portico on their European tour.
