This compilation gathers recording extracts from this edition plus two newly recorded pieces: Les Chemins de l’amour and Rustique from Sonata for four hands Gabriel Tacchino is a French pianist, pupil of Jacques Février and Francis Poulenc – in fact he was Poulenc’s only pupil. He has concerts and master classes all over the world – especially in China, Japan, France and Switzerland. He became a specialist of Poulenc’s piano music – among other repertoires – and recorded a landmark complete piano works by Poulenc for EMI between 1966 and 1985.
