American Twilight is the product of Australian rock group Crime and the City Solution, who rose to fame in the late 70s and 80s and split in 1984, but were reformed by singer Simon Bonney. Personnel on this album include Bonney, Bronwyn Adams, Alexander Hacker, David Eugene Edwards of the American bands 16 Horsepower and Woven Hand, Troy Gregory, Matthew Smith, Jim White of the Australian group Dirty Three and Danielle de Picciotto.
