Since the early '70s, Asleep at the Wheel has been keeping Western Swing alive with non-stop touring and a string of critically acclaimed album releases. Their association with AUSTIN CITY LIMITS dates to 1975 when they appeared on the very first non-pilot episode of the TV show, after adopting Austin as the band's hometown. The performance on this DVD and CD was recorded in 1992, and showcases the group at the top of their game.
