Double-bill of Abbott and Costello comedies. In 'Buck Privates' (1941) Bud and Lou join the army to avoid going to jail. They soon, however, fall foul of the company's drill instructor. In 'One Night in the Tropics' (1940) Bud and Lou end up on a tropical island mixed up with an insurance salesman in a plot that owes more than a little to 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'.
