REMOTE PLAY – Access your content wherever you are
Use your PlayStation 3 to wirelessly access videos, photos and music stored on other media servers and digital devices.

What is DLNA?
DLNA stands for Digital Living Network Alliance and it allows compatible devices, such as PlayStation 3, PCs and compatible televisions, to join a network and share data wirelessly, via your Internet router.
· You can connect, over the network, devices that are compatible with DLNA, including products made by other companies. You can also connect a Microsoft Windows XP or Microsoft Windows Vista personal computer that has Windows Media Player 11 installed.
· When you turn on the PS3 system, DLNA servers on the same network are automatically detected and icons for the detected servers are displayed under Photo, Music or Video on the XMB. If you select an icon, you can play content that is available for shared access on each DLNA server*.
*You cannot play copyright-protected content. Some other content, such as video and audio formats not supported by PS3, may not be played using the DLNA server feature.

Sensational Dual Shock Sixaxis Wireless Controller
New gamers intuitively move the controller while playing, even though that movement has traditionally had no relation to what's going on in the game. Sony has picked up on this tendency and is using it to bring a new level of control to the PS3. Inside the controller is a high-precision sixaxis sensing system that accurately detects fine movements in pitch, roll, and yaw, as well as three dimensions of movement. This means that future PS3 games will be controlled by the movements of your hands rather than just your thumbs. For example, you might be able to steer a car by holding the controller like a steering wheel.
While the PS3 controller looks much like its Dual Shock predecessors, it will lack the force-feedback vibration since that would only interfere with the sensing system. It uses Bluetooth 2.0 wireless technology and can support wireless controllers. It's a hot-swappable system, so if your controller is running low on power, just pause your game and connect a USB 2.0 cable. You can continue playing while your controller recharges automatically.

Pan-European Game Information (PEGI)
The PEGI rating system was established in 2003 to help European parents make informed decisions on buying interactive games. Designed to ensure that minors are not exposed to games that are unsuitable for their particular age group, the system is fully supported by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, as well as by publishers and developers of interactive games throughout Europe.
All PlayStation games carry a PEGI age rating or such other rating system that may be prescribed by law, as well as additional descriptors to advise on specific content within individual games. Parental Controls
PlayStation 2, PSP and PlayStation 3 all have Parental Control Level as a feature. This applies to DVD video content on PS2, UMD and downloaded game and video content on PSP, and Blu-ray Disc game and video content on PS3.
This feature can be used with software that has a preset parental control level based on the content. Depending on your set-up, you can set the parental control level to restrict the playback of content with a level that is higher than that set.
