Description

The New Nintendo 2DS XL comes in a clamshell-design and will use the same size large screen found on New Nintendo 3DS XL systems.

As the name of the new system implies, visuals will be displayed in 2D only. The system is lighter but still packs the same power as New Nintendo 3DS XL, and has built-in NFC support for amiibo cards and figures.

It can play the massive library of quality Nintendo 3DS, New Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS games in 2D.

Nintendo systems are also the only dedicated video game systems where people can find their favourite characters and game franchises, such as Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Kirby, Pokémon, Fire Emblem, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, Animal Crossing and The Legend of Zelda.

The quirky new game everyone's talking about! If you put your favourite people in your game, surprising things can happen! Start life on your own island, where your Mii will live in an apartment block - and you decide who else lives there with you. You can have a community of up to 100 Mii characters, and as they've got their own personalities, they'll go about their daily lives – but they'll need your help to realise their hopes and dreams! The personalities of your Mii characters might be just like that person in real life, or they might be totally different. One thing is for sure, when you put a whole bunch of personalities together you're guaranteed fireworks! While you'll help out the members of your community, part of the fun is sitting back and watching the amazing, ridiculous, silly and often hilarious drama of Tomodachi Life unfold.
