 Excellent game with big improvements 17 Feb 2012 First of all I would just like to say I am a huge UFC fan, as a result of this, I absolutely love this game but please read my review if you are not a fan or new to this genre..
I have played both the previous games which I enjoyed but found faults with. This years game has ironed out the career stats part and plays more fluid and allows you move fight to fight, which is what you bought the game for. The customisation of character, camp logos and banners is great although the create a character profile (face etc) seems to be slightly dated. The graphics for the 150 line up roster is amazing and you can easily identify each fighter. The movement is much more responsive and actually feels as though you are in control of all the moves.
The various modes in the game are a fans dream, with classic matches to recreate which if done 100% rewards players with actual video footage from the fight.
It also has an easier control option for new players to this genre, which is great to slowly allow players to get use to the many combinations and ground moves, for veteran players the pro control option is there allowing full control of your fighter.
Overall I believe this game is an excellent purchase for both fans of the sport and for players looking for a great fighting game.
