Wii Play consists of a selection of nine very different mini-games on one game, which are designed to help you master the unique Wii Remote, whilst also providing hours of entertainment. To ensure you can enjoy Wii Play with your friends, the game comes bundled with a free Wii Remote. Wii Play consists of a variety of quirky games that can be played either alone or with a friend. This includes Shooting Range, which is the first game unlocked and is reminiscent of the classic Duck Hunt (released on the NES). In order to unlock the next game the player simply needs to complete the previous one (this sequence continues throughout). When all of the games have been unlocked players can start earning medals for their performance. Find Mii involves picking the right face out of a crowd in an environment that constantly changes - it?s a race against the clock and each other! Pose Mii requires players to make their Mii characters fit into the shapes in the Wii bubbles. To do this they must swing the remote to the right angle to make it fit inside. The psychedelic colours and quirky graphics involved in this puzzle make it instantly addictive.
Other games included are Charge, where players have to hold onto a rampaging bull and try not to fall off! Players steer their bull and make it jump by moving the Wii Remote in the right direction, attempting to knock over scarecrows on the way. Tanks, which also makes use of the Nunchuk controller, tests a player?s strategic skills encouraging them to leave trails of mines for other tanks to stumble across.
Reviewed by: Daviebroon from Cheshire Considering its approx £30 for a remote alone, the price simplygames.com are doing Wii play for is great. Its £35 in the likes of game, tesco, asda etc. Was delivered next day, so cannot complain at all. A must for someone who wants a 2nd remote, for 2 players games etc. Add some of the games on wii play are actually quite fun. Much improved over the wii sports game you get with the console. Also comes with a silicon cover for your remote! Reviewed by: Roselyn from London Wii play is definitely good value for money. It comes with a free Wii remote (which costs only a few pounds less if bought separately). It is great fun for everyone, especially children. If anyone has just recently purchased a Wii Console, I would recommed this game as it is very handy to have a second Wii Remote and the game teaches beginners on how to use it. Truthfully, I would like to add that it is a pretty short game and tends to get a little boring after a while. Reviewed by: Maggie from Glasgow this is good fun for young kids and us oldies starting out we played for hours with this game my son played endlessy with this and for the price well what can you say it is defo value for money Reviewed by: John Stamford from Leics Wii Play is great for multi-player and helps non-gamers to get used to the feel of the remote. The only reason I haven’t given it a 5-star is because it lacks replay value unless its in multiplayer. However, it is good value for money as it costs only slightly more than the cost of the remote itself. It teaches younger or more inexperienced people how to use the remote more effectively. I would highly reccomend if you have young children or your new to console gaming or the wii. |
